Leadership & Operations

Treasurer (Executive Officer)

Financial steward ensuring FPPC compliance, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

Attendance at E-Board meetings and quarterly financial reviews
Reports to: Chair (Ayo Banjo)

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and oversee FPPC-compliant financial systems
  • Maintain accurate accounting of contributions, expenditures, and donor records
  • Work with leadership to build financial strategy and sustainability
  • Prepare and review financial documentation for filings and reports
  • Ensure secure, organized, and transparent record-keeping
  • Support donor relations and fundraising operations as needed

What You'll Gain

Leadership & Operations

Donor Management & Fundraising Lead

Design and oversee small- and mid-donor strategy, building sustainable fundraising infrastructure.

Availability for evening calls and event coordination
Reports to: Treasurer & Chair

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the donor relationship database (CRM)
  • Develop small-dollar and recurring donation strategies
  • Coordinate digital fundraising campaigns with the Communications Team
  • Support in-person and virtual fundraising events
  • Collaborate with the Treasurer to ensure all contributions are properly logged and reported
  • Write donor communications (thank-you notes, updates, newsletters)
  • Support donor segmentation and outreach tracking

Communications & Creative

Creative Content Team Member

Bring imagination to the front lines of organizing with visuals, videos, and graphics.

Key Responsibilities

Design social media graphics, flyers, and digital storytelling assets
Edit short videos and campaign reels
Support brand consistency across platforms and events
Collaborate with writers, organizers, and policy leads to visualize campaigns
Capture and archive content from events and Town Halls
Contribute ideas for new creative series or visuals aligned with our pillars

Social Media & Communications Lead

Oversee the voice, brand, and digital presence of Project Plenty.

Reports to: Chair + COO

Key Responsibilities

Develop the Project Plenty content strategy across platforms
Lead weekly posting and digital storytelling aligned with our pillars
Manage content calendars, messaging pillars, and brand consistency
Supervise creative volunteers (designers, editors, writers)
Track performance analytics and refine strategy accordingly
Support rapid response when political or economic events shift
Partner with Policy and Outreach teams to amplify real community stories

Outreach & Organizing Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the statewide organizing strategy
  • Build partnerships with labor, students, nonprofits, activists, and community groups
  • Lead recruitment for organizers and volunteers
  • Support micro-communities within each pillar (Time, Trust, Homes, Health, Hope)
  • Manage volunteer onboarding and engagement
  • Capture community stories and relay them to policy and comms teams
  • Coordinate turnout for Town Halls and regional gatherings

Maintain relationships with reporters and editors
Track earned media and compile press mentions
Coordinate interviews and public statements with leadership
Support media strategy for major Town Halls or policy announcements
Manage Project Plenty's media contact list and press kit

  • Lead recruitment for volunteers, campus chapters, and local partners
